Is the library open to the public?

No, the Thomas Jefferson University Libraries are not open to the public at this time.
Exceptions may be made for individuals who wish to use research materials from Gutman Library's collection, but you need to call ahead. Call us at 215-951-2848 to learn more.
If you live, work, go to school, or pay taxes in Philadelphia you are eligible for a free library card from the Free Library of Philadelphia. You can order one online and use the card both in-person and online to access the library's online resources (via Libby/OverDrive).
