Does the library have study rooms? How can I get one?

Answer

Yes! You have many options for individual or group study in the libraries.

Paul J Gutman Library (East Falls):
The library has six study rooms equipped with resources for individual and group study. Check room availability, book a room, or cancel a reservation on our website. Use your Campus Key and password to log in to reserve a room and use your Jefferson email address to submit your room request.

You can book a room for 4 hours at a time. Learn more about study rooms.

Scott Memorial Library (Center City):
The library has six individual study rooms and ten group study rooms. Check room availability, book a room, or cancel a reservation on our website. Use your Campus Key and password to log in to reserve a room and use your Jefferson email address to submit your request.

Group study rooms cannot be used by individual students. You can submit a request for a group study room one week in advance. You can make a day-of request in-person at the 2nd floor Service Desk, but spaces are subject to availability, so it's best to plan ahead!  Read more about Scott Library's room policy.
