What are course reserves? Where do I find them?
Answer
Course reserves are physical materials that a faculty member has assigned or recommended for use in a class. Course reserves may be print books or book chapters, journal articles, copies of past exams, physical models, or audiovisual materials. They may belong to the library or to a faculty member. Circulation periods and policies vary between campuses and type of material. Many items formerly on course reserve have been digitized and are available as direct links in a classes' Canvas shell.
Use the library catalog (Scott or Gutman) to see what items are on reserve for your courses, and then visit your library's Circulation Desk to request items. Learn more about Gutman's course reserves and Scott's course reserves.
